Relationship Between Spatial-Temporal Variation Characteristics of Anthrophony and Landscape Pattern in Urban Parks in Summer
Anthrophony can reflect the patterns and laws of park visitors'activities, which has important value for research.Anthrophony in summer is characterized by high richness and concentrated vocalization. The paper selects three urban parks at different urbanization levels in Fuzhou to collect and quantify the summer acoustic data using acoustic indices, and explores the relationship between the spatial-temporal variation characteristics of anthrophony and the landscape pattern of the parks. The results show that:1)The anthrophony in Fuzhou's urban parks in summer are mainly categorized into urban background sound, custodial sound and park sounds, which originate from the exterior, the interior and the visitor activities of the parks,respectively;2)The temporal heterogeneity of anthrophony is mainly driven by the activities of urban residents, showing a trend of low in the night and high in the day, while the spatial heterogeneity is influenced by park location, park facilities, node distribution, and the nature of patches;and 3)The park landscape pattern has a significant effect on the frequency and the duration of anthrophony.Custodial sound and traffic sound increase with the increase of gray space, while the increase of woodland area can improve the frequency and the duration of recreational sound;the NDSI index is negatively correlated with the landscape pattern index of the woodland and positively correlated with the index of the gray space. The findings indicate that woodland in the parks has a positive effect on anthrophony interference reduction. In this sense, the optimal strategy for improving anthrophony is proposed for the future urban parks,i.e.,increasing the area of buffer zone around parks and the vertical plants, making a rational plan for interior zones and roads in parks, and setting up certain anthrophony interventions in the areas with high anthrophonic disturbances.
