Current Condition and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Ancient and Famous Trees in Lanshan County
In order to explore the resources of ancient and famous trees in Lanshan County,the paper adopts the methods of literature review and field investigation to statistically analyze the characteristics,spatial distribution and growth of ancient and famous trees.The results show that:1)There are 1 111 ancient and famous trees in Lanshan County,belonging to 80 species in 59 genera of 30 families,and the dominant tree species are Liquidambar formosan,Cinnamomum camphora,Pinus massoniana,Platycladus orientalis and Celtis bungeana;2)The overall tree age structure is in the pyramidal shape,while the third-grade old trees are in the largest number,accounting for 64.54%.The ancient trees older than 1 000 a include 3 Ginkgo biloba and 1 Pistacia chinensis;3)From the perspective of diameter class structure,the height of the ancient trees is mainly concentrated in the ranges of 10-20 m and 20-30 m,the diameter at breast height is mainly less than 1m,and the crown width is concentrated in 10-20 m;4)In terms of spatial distribution and growth state,ancient and famous trees show the obvious aggregation characteristics,with 1 high-dense central region and 3 sub-dense central regions.They are mainly distributed in rural areas,and 51.4%of the trees have normal growth potential;and 5)From the site condition,the number of ancient and famous trees on flat slope,gentle slope and no slope direction is the largest.Overall,Lanshan County has abundant resources of ancient and famous trees,and their distribution characteristics are significantly influenced by the factors such as slope,population density,and land uses.
