Spatio-temporal Evolution and Driving Factors of Green Space in the Town Agglomeration of the South Taihang Mountain
To explore the spatio-temporal evolution and driving factors of green spaces is of great significance for coordinated trans-regional development of a town agglomeration. The research takes the town agglomerations of the south Taihang Mountain as the example and land use data and socioeconomic statistics in 2000,2010,and 2020 to analyze the evolution regularity using dynamic degree, transfer matrix, landscape pattern indices as well as the driving mechanism using Pearson correlation coefficient and Optimal Parameters-Based Geographical Detector. The results show that:1) From 2000 to 2020,the area of green spaces showed a decreasing trend, and the area of cropland and grassland continued to decline, and cropland had been transferred to construction land;2) The landscape pattern index of the most green spaces presented a decreasing trend;and 3 ) Green space area indicators were significantly correlated with social economy and natural environment indicators, and the terrain factor was the most capable of explanation. In conclusion, various types of green space patches have decreased in number, the fragmentation degree increased, and the landscape connectivity decreased in the past two decades, and urban and rural construction and natural environment conditions are the important factors affecting the evolution of green spaces, while topography is the direct driving force to the evolution of green space in mountains town agglomerations.
