Application Value of Magnetic Resonance Magic Imaging in Brain Metastases
Objective To investigate the application value of magnetic resonance imaging compilation(MAGIC)in brain metastases. Methods The imaging data of 30 patients with brain metastases were analyzed, and the SNR of enhanced MAGIC images was compared with that of conventional enhanced images. The number and location distribution of brain metastases detected by two kinds of sequential images were recorded. The overall quality score, focal detail score and pseudo-film score of the two images were analyzed. Results The SNR of T1WI,T2WI,T1WI-FLAIR and T2WI-FLAIR images in enhanced MAGIC sequences was higher than that in conventional enhanced sequences, and the difference was statistically significant(t=32.685,t=29.158,t=22.939,t=21.608;P<0.001).There was no significant difference in the number and location of brain metastases detected between the enhanced MAGIC images and the conventional enhanced images. There was no significant difference between the enhanced MAGIC images and the conventional enhanced images in overall quality score, focal detail score and pseudo-film score(t=0.213,t=0.109,t=0.659;All P>0.05).Conclusion Magnetic resonance enhanced MAGIC scan can clearly display the location and number of brain metastases, and has a high signal-to-noise ratio, which provides a reliable basis for making clinical treatment plan and prognostic judgment.
