CT Features and Pathological Basis of Neuroblastoma in Children
Objective To explore the CT features and pathological basis of hepatoblastoma. Methods 27 cases with hepatoblastoma confirmed by operation and/or pathology were retrospectively analyzed, including the CT examination data. Results The masses were various in size, the largest diameter larger than 10cm in 19 cases and protruding extrahepatic growth;Cross-leaf growth in 19 cases;Different degrees of necrosis in 24 cases(24/27);Spotted,sand-grained,flaky calcification in 8 cases(8/27);Internal haemorrhage in 10 cases(10/27);Heterogeneous and moderate enhancement in arterial phase, and gradual regression in venous phase and delayed phase. The adjacent blood vessels(right, middle, left hepatic vein, inferior vena cava, etc.)were pressed in 20 cases(20/27),and distant metastasis occurred in 3 cases(3/27).Conclusion The incidence of hepatoblastoma is very low,but it is generally easy to make an accurate diagnosis according to the age of onset, the value of AFP and the characteristics of CT(Liver huge mass with protrusive extrahepatic growth, internal necrosis, and hemorrhage, significant heterogeneous enhancement),which is of important value for clinicians to choose treatment plans.
