Research on the effect of new chronic disease management mode on quality of life and patient satisfaction of hypertensive patients
Objective To analyze the the psychological effect and quality of life for a new chronic disease management mode on hypertensive patients,we conducted this study.Methods Hypertensive patients admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University(from March 2016 to December 2018)were selected,and 300 patients who were over 35 years old with essential hypertension enrolled in the group were divided into new mode treatment group and conventional treatment group by using the random number table method.There were 162 cases in the new mode treat-ment group and 138 cases in the conventional treatment group.The new mode treatment group used the new nurse-led chronic disease management,and the conventional treatment group used the the routine treatment.Quality of life(QLICD-HY,2.0)and patient satisfaction questionnaire were used to evaluate the quality of life,psychological and patient satisfaction before and after the implementation of intervention measures.Results The improvement of blood pressure of patients in the new mode treatment group was better than that in the conventional treatment group.The new mode could improve the medication compliance of patients with hypertension,improve psychological function,and the satisfaction of patients was high.Conclusion The new mode of treat-ment can significantly reduce blood pressure,improve the quality of life,enhance patient satisfaction and improve the doctor-patient re-lationship,and thus it is worth further promotion and application in hospitals at all levels.
