Evaluation of a new compound disinfectant for Yersinia pestis and Bacillus anthracis disinfection
Objective To explore the disinfection effect of a compound disinfectant with dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride as the main component on Yersinia pestis and Bacillus anthracis, and to provide the basis for its practical application. Methods With reference to the disinfection effect evaluation method of Disinfection Technical Specification(2002)Version,the suspension quantitative disinfection method was adopted, and Yersinia pestis EV76 and Bacillus anthracis A16R were selected as the indicator bacteria to carry out the evaluation test of neutralization agent identification and disinfection effect evaluation, and the disinfection performance of this disinfectant was assessed. Results The neutralizing agent identification test was repeated 3 times,Yersinia pestis EV76 and Bacillus anthracis A16R were qualified; After 2 min of action of the original solution of the disin-fectant,the killing logarithmic value of Yersinia pestis EV76 and Bacillus anthracis A16R was greater than 5.00,and the disinfec-ting effect was qualified; The killing logarithmic value of the disinfectant stock solution diluted 10 times to Yersinia pestis EV76 was more than 5.00,and the disinfecting effect was qualified. For Bacillus anthracis A16R,the killing logarithm value was less than 5.00,and the disinfecting effect was unqualified. Conclusions The compound disinfectant of the original solution is able to effectively kill the Yersinia pestis EV76 and Bacillus anthracis A16R,and when the disinfectant is diluted 10 times,it is still able to effectively kill the Yersinia pestis EV76.
