Students'Public Rationality in the Image Age:Implication,Alienation and Governance
In the era when images become an important medium for people to understand and grasp the world,cultivating students'public rationality is the mission of the era of education,and also an important topic of education research.Public rationality in the image age is based on equal and rational individuals,pursues the value goal of public interest,and seeks dialogue and consultation as the way of consensus.In the face of images,the public rationality of young students presents a certain alienation syndrome,and students are difficult to exist as equal and independent rational individuals.Addicted to the image world,alienated from common values,attention to entertainment is difficult to bear public responsibility.When participating in the dialogue,opinion leaders have the right to speak,forming the polarization of the group.To this end,schools should promote the development of students'public rationality by establishing a culture of image consciousness,constructing a series of systems and taking multiple actions.
