Breaking the Colin Grinch Dilemma:The Direction,Principles, and Approaches of Risk Governance in Digital Education Transformation
The"Corinthian Dilemma"of digital transformation in education reveals the potential risks and governance challenges commonly present in the application of digital technology in the education field, and is characterized by algorithmic decision-making induced cognitive barriers between teachers and students, technocracy leading to the violation of subject values, and digital twins exacerbating the crisis of educational trust. To effectively regulate the risks of digital transformation in education, governance plans should preset social values in technological design, with resilience construction, diverse governance, and digital well-being as value orientation, and safety and reliability, symbiosis and collaboration, and proportional accountability as basic principles.Based on this, the risk management of digital transformation in education in China should follow the governance logic of unifying"rigid bottom line"and"flexible boundary",the governance concept of integrating"human nature restoration"and"good law and good governance",and the governance strategy of combining"responsibility regulation"and"integration and linkage".
