Understanding Teachers and Teacher Understanding:Realistic Dilemmas and Microscopic Examinations of Teacher Data Use
From the beginning of China's education big data era to the proposal of the education digital transformation strategy,data applications in the education field not only face the iterative updating of materialized digital infrastructure,but also urgently need to build the digital thinking and ability of application subject teachers.The current school education practice mainly focuses on the implementation of data application technology and activities from a macro level,with little attention paid to how teachers specifically understand and use data.As a key intermediary variable in the digital transformation of education,whether we can understand the practical difficulties faced by frontline teachers in data application practice,and whether we can understand the complex psychological processes and laws of teachers understanding and analyzing data from a specific level,will determine the overall appearance and ultimate effectiveness of data application in the education field.This study systematically reviews the main constraints and influencing factors of teacher data application,focuses on the process of teacher data application from a micro perspective,summarizes methods to promote teacher data application and process exploration,and attempts to provide useful insights and suggestions for the current data-driven school reform.
