Research on the Construction and Application of an Interdisciplinary Competency Assessment Model for Primary School Students
Interdisciplinary competency is a key competency for primary school students'learning and development.Constructing a scientific and reasonable interdisciplinary competency evaluation model is an important guarantee for effectively monitoring and improving primary school students'interdisciplinary competency.It has important practical significance in breaking down disciplinary knowledge barriers and cultivating top-notch innovative talents in the new era.The research follows a mature paradigm for constructing educational evaluation models,clarifies the operational definition of interdisciplinary competency for primary school students,constructs a primary school interdisciplinary competency evaluation index system that includes three primary indicators of interdisciplinary knowledge,interdisciplinary ability,and interdisciplinary sentiment,and eight secondary indicators.The"Primary School Interdisciplinary competency Evaluation Scale"has been developed,based on exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process,A cross disciplinary competency evaluation model for primary school students was constructed:Y=0.306*Y1+0.412*Y2+0.282*Y3,where Y represents the cross disciplinary competency of primary school students,and Y1,Y2,Y3 respectively represent cross disciplinary knowledge,cross disciplinary ability,cross disciplinary sentiment.The model was applied to evaluate 18166 primary school students in grades 4-6 from 12 provinces and cities in the eastern,central,and western regions of China,preliminarily verifying the scientific,effective,and operable nature of the model.Finally,based on the evaluation results,proposing suggestions to improve primary school students'interdisciplinary competency.
