Science Education for Fostering Innovative Talents:Logic,Challenges and Approaches
The sustained and effective cultivation of innovative talents is an important support for enhancing the overall level of national innovation.Based on the analysis of the essential functions of primary and secondary science education and the intrinsic qualities of innovative talents,it is found that science education can help develop the knowledge base necessary for innovation,cultivate students'innovative thinking ability and innovative spirit,and thus promote the cultivation of innovative talents.On the contrary,there are still a series of problems in the cultivation of innovative talents in primary and secondary science education in China,including the inertia of test-taking in the science curriculum is still strong,the lack of effective integration of science education resources and the insufficient innovation education quality of science teachers.In order to give full play to the effective function of science education in cultivating innovative talents,first,we should optimize the science curriculum system and implement the cultivation of innovative talents in the whole process of science education;The second is to develop the team of science teachers and realize the cultivation of innovative talents under the guidance of innovative teachers;The third is to optimize the ecology of scientific education and promote the cultivation of innovative talents in a multi-collaborative educational environment.
