Technology-Enhanced Learning Based on the National Smart Education Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools:Needs Analysis,Strategy Development, and Empirical Research—A Study from the Perspective of Academic Emotions as a Mediating Variable
As the integration of technology and education deepens, the application of information technology in smart classroom construction is increasingly emerging as a key platform for promoting high-level thinking skills and cultivating innovative talents in the field of basic education.Against the backdrop of the nationwide pilot program for the Smart Education Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools, this study investigates the impact of different technology applications on students'learning outcomes in smart classrooms, focusing on the mediating role of academic emotions. The study explores the pathways through which technology facilitates learning in smart classrooms. The findings, based on the Smart Education Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools, reveal that:(1)academic emotions act as a mediator in the process of technology-facilitated learning, with different levels of technology exhibiting varying impacts on academic emotions;(2)strategies for technology-facilitated learning in smart classrooms can enhance students'positive academic emotions and learning outcomes.Based on these findings, the study provides recommendations for teachers to effectively apply technology to promote student learning in smart classrooms based on the Smart Education Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools:(1)leverage resource-rich technologies to stimulate students'positive high-arousal emotions;(2)utilize precise data-level technologies to enhance students'positive emotional arousal;(3)employ appropriate interactive technologies to reduce students'negative high-arousal emotions.
