What Exactly Constitutes a"Excellent"Intelligent Education Product—A Textual Grounded Theory Analysis from Parents'Perspective
Intelligent education products aimed at primary and secondary school students are emerging in large numbers,and the chaos caused by product issues occurs from time to time.A fundamental issue related to product development principles is:What exactly makes a'excellent'intelligent education product?Previous studies have continuously conducted macro-level analysis of the risks of artificial intelligence applications in education from an expert perspective,lacking a focus on practice and an examination of specific intelligent education products from the parents'perspective.Therefore,this study focuses on 6 types of 39 specific intelligent education products that have been put into practice,and through grounded theory analysis of their official promotional materials,it is found that in the eyes of parents,a'excellent'intelligent education product has four key characteristics:anticipatable,controllable,reliable,and sustainable.Consequently,the study proposes three suggestions:assisting parents in improving their artificial intelligence literacy,guiding students to engage in reasonable human-computer interaction,and promoting the development of mandatory product standards.
