Analysis of Transient Time Domain Characteristics of Fault Phase Recovery Voltage in Neutral Flexible Grounding Distribution Networks
The voltage recovery characteristics of distribution networks after grounding fault arc extinguishing determine the system overvoltage level and arc reignition characteristics. The mechanism of transient recovery voltage change after fault arc extinguishing in flexible grounding distribution networks is not clear. Therefore, the transient equivalent circuit of grounding fault in flexible grounding distribution networks is established and the time domain expression of fault recovery voltage after fault zero-passing arc extinguishing is analyzed theoretically. The effects of system parameter changes on the transient peak value and recovery speed of fault recovery voltage under the resonant grounding and flexible grounding modes of distribution networks are compared and analyzed. The change rule of transient characteristics of fault recovery voltage with zero sequence current and current injection timing is revealed.Various operation and fault conditions are simulated in PSCAD/EMTDC and 10 kV distribution network test field. The results of simulation and experimental test verify the correctness of the time domain characteristics and change rules of fault phase recovery voltage in flexible grounding distribution networks.
