Flexible Speed Regulation Strategy of Axial Flow Fans in Direct Dry Cooling System Based on the Principle of Uniform Distribution of Heat Load
In direct dry cooling power plants,the axial fan power consumption accounts for a high proportion of the auxiliary power.To obtain an efficient regulation strategy,taking a typical 2×600 MW direct dry cooling unit as an example,the flexible rotational speed regulation strategy of axial flow fan is numerically studied based on the principle of uniform heat load distribution.The rotational speed distribution of axial flow fans and the cooling air mass flow rate through air cooling unit are obtained under different ambient temperature and wind speed.Finally,under different ambient conditions,the variation rules of total power consumption of axial flow fans with different regulation strategies are obtained.The results show that the flexible regulation strategy of axial flow fans based on the principle of uniform heat load distribution is obviously superior to the integral regulation strategy.Finally,the corresponding research results can provide reference for optimizing operation and deep energy saving of direct dry cooling units.
