Operation Mechanism Design for Generalized Shared Energy Storage Based on Combinatorial Auction
Shared energy storage has become an effective way to solve large-scale grid-connected renewable energy,but the existing shared energy storage mechanisms have not considered the complementarity and substitution of users for energy storage's needs,which seriously affects the purchase intention of users.In addition,the current mechanisms have not considered constraints of energy storage capacity,charging and discharging power and state of charge's impacts,which is not conducive to the design of bidding strategy,so that operators face the risk of economic loss.Therefore,this paper designs a generalized shared energy storage operation mechanism based on combinatorial auction.First,considering that resources such as base station backup energy storage,air conditioning,and electric vehicle charging stations have energy storage characteristics and different operating behaviors,the generalized energy storage model is used to uniformly aggregate and package them,which reduces the difficulty of scheduling multiple demand-side resources.Next,the right to use energy storage is designed and divided into two types:the right to use energy storage power and the right to use energy storage capacity.Then,it also designs a bidding curve for the seller that takes into account the state of charge of energy storage,along with a combination of different periods and variety coupling needs for the buyer to meet the diverse needs of users for energy storage and improve user satisfaction.Based on the combinatorial auction theory,a shared energy storage operation mechanism is designed,which includes bidding,decision,resource pricing and fund settlement to realize the efficient use of generalized shared energy storage resources and fair distribution of social welfare.Finally,the simulation results show that the operation mechanism can meet the flexibility needs of users and reduce the cost of energy storage services.
