Senseless Vector Control Method for Induction Motor Based on Extended Sliding Mode and Phase Locked Loop
In high-performance sensorless vector control systems for induction motors, accurate estimation of rotor flux and speed is required. However, the back emf which includes DC offset affects the accurate estimation of rotor flux. Moreover, speed estimation cannot converge to actual value by conventional quadrature phase-locked loop method under acceleration and deceleration. To solve these two problems,a super-twisting sliding mode observer is proposed to estimate emf. Then,an extended sliding mode phase-locked loop method is proposed to improve the speed estimation performance under acceleration conditions.Effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through a 1.5 kW induction motor testing platform.
