Studies on the Pesticide Control Techniques of Sesamia inferens at Rice Panicle Stage
Comparative experiment of pesticides, spray volume and control date were performed in the field in order to control the Sesamia inferens at rice panicle stage. The results showed that the control effects of several pesticides against sesamia inferens at rice panicle stage were good, including chlorantraniliprole, phenthoate, avermectins·diazinon, avermectins·triazophos, avermectins·sum-ithion, dimethoate·triazophos and triazophos·dipterex. Among these pesticides, chlorantraniliprole and phenthoate have obvious control effects at both egg hatching stage and low instar larvae stage. We suggest that the spray volume of water should be 1000 kg per hm 2. When Sesamia inferens occurred seriously, pesticides should be sprayed twice consecutively at the beginning and the peak period of egg hatching. If necessary, the pesticides should be sprayed at the peak period of low instar larvae.
