Analysis on Etiological and Serological Monitoring of Classical Swine Fever in Yunnan Province from 2017 to 2021
In order to fully investigate the status of infection and immunization of classical swine fever(CSF)in Yunnan Province from 2017 to 2021,and to estimate the possible risk of disease outbreak and spreading,63 224 etiological samples and 146 547 serological samples were collected, and a monitoring of CSF pathogens and serum antibodies was carried out.The results showed that qualification rates of CSF immune antibodies were 82.94%,81.47%,80.79%,80.24%and 82.53%,respectively in the successive five years, the rates in intensive farms were slightly higher than those in free-range households, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05);the positive rates of CSF virus nucleic acids were 0.52%,0.74%,1.10%,1.02%and 2.42%,respectively,the rates in free-range households and slaughterhouses were higher than those in intensive farms. In conclusion, the qualification rate of CSF immune antibodies reached national standards in Yunnan Province since compulsory immunization was withdrawn in 2017,but the pathogenic positive rate was increasing in general, and CSF virus was widely distributed, the risk of CSF occurrence was higher in free-range households with low immune density and qualification rate, indicating a need to strengthen monitoring and immunization.
