Monitoring and Analysis of Antibodies against Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Weinan City,Shaanxi Province
In order to investigate the immunization status of H5 and H7 subtype highly pathogenic avian influenza(HPAI)in Weinan City, serum samples were randomly selected from intensive chicken farms and free-range households from 2020 to 2022 to detect antibodies against avian influenza virus using hemagglutination(HA)and hemagglutination inhibition(HI)tests, then test data were statistically analyzed. The results showed that the qualification rate of antibodies against H5 subtype HPAI virus was 96.28%,and that of H7 subtype HPAI virus was 92.24%;the former was significant higher than the latter in 2020(P<0.001)and 2022(P<0.05).The qualification rates of antibodies against H5 subtype HPAI virus were from 85.00%to 100%in 12 regions, and those of H7 subtype HPAI virus ranged from 70.48%to 98.80%;the average antibody qualification rates of the two subtypes were significantly different(P<0.05)in intensive farms and free-range households. In conclusion, the antibody levels of the two subtypes of HPAI were relatively high in Weinan City where the immune effect was good.It was thus recommended that intensive farms should further evaluate the immune effect, and free-range households should improve their awareness of responsibilities as actors to improve the general level of avian influenza prevention and control.
