Discussion on the Biological Control Techniques for Major Disease Vectors in Swine Farms in Beijing City
At present, the disease prevention and control situation faced by pig production industry in China was still severe, indicating that it was important to cut off possible vector transmission routes in bio-safety management in the prevention and control of African swine fever(ASF)and other diseases in farms. In order to help farms to establish more sound specifications to control such disease vectors, four techniques for control of mice, flies, ticks and birds were introduced based on their roles in physical, chemical and biological control, followed by recommendations including multiple measures to be implemented based on specific conditions in farms, implementation of effective work for disease vector control, with a view to providing a reference for effective control of animal diseases in swine farms.
