In March 2022,a report was submitted by a citizen to Agriculture and Rural Bureau of K City claiming that her cat died of disease after vaccination in a pet store,hence vaccine source and vaccination qualification of the store were questioned.The store was investigated by law enforcement officers through on-site inspection and inquiry,then imposed penalties according to law after its illegal fact was confirmed,namely,engaging in unlicensed animal diagnosis and treatment.In the paper,the investigation and handling process of the case were introduced,and the reasons for the occurrence of such cases were analyzed to propose corresponding regulatory measures,with a view to providing a reference for better guiding healthy development of the industries related to pets.
