Comparison on 3 Kinds of Serological Detection Kits for African Swine Fever Virus
In order to compare the performance of different kinds of kits for detection of African swine fever virus(ASFV),the sensitivity, specificity, compliance rate and clinical application of 3 serological detection kits including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),chemiluminescent immunoassay(CLIA)and high-sensitivity fluorescent immunoassay(HSIA)were compared using standard-positive sera,standard-negative sera and clinical sera. The results showed that the difference in the sensitivity, specificity and coincidence rate of 4 ELISA kits,1 CLIA kit and 1 HSIA kit was not significant. The detection critical value of the 3 kinds of kits could all reach 16 times dilution, but different when the dilution was above 32 times, and ELISA kit was generally more sensitive. When clinical sera collected from different farms with outbreaks of ASF in the past years were detected,it was found that the positive rates of different kits were different, and better in ELISA kit compared to the others. In conclusion, all of kits could be used to detect ASFV,especially ELISA kit that was superior in mass screening and monitoring of ASFV.
