Epidemiological Investigation on CSF,PRRS and PR in Part of China in 2022
In order to investigate the prevalence of classical swine fever(CSF),porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS)and porcine pseudorabies(PR)in pig population at different ages in farms with different scales in different regions in China,6 172 serum samples and 2 301 pathogen samples collected in 2022 were detected for antibodies and antigens of classical swine fever virus(CSFV),porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV)and pseudorabies virus(PRV),respectively. The results showed that the antibody positive rates of CSFV,PRRSV and PRV-gE were 94.15%,63.06%and 8.55%,respectively,and the pathogen detection rates were 0.13%,8.50%and 0.80%,respectively.The detection rate of PRRSV was the highest in fattening farms, and S/P≥2.5 took up the highest proportion;the antibody positive rate of PRV-gE(60.87%)was significantly higher in sows with 5-6 births than that in other pig population at different growth stages(P<0.05).In conclusion,CSF was well controlled by immunization in general, posing a low risk of disease outbreak;the immune antibody positive rate of PRRSV was low, which brought an alert to PRRSV infection in fattening pigs at 13-21 weeks old;and PRV was seriously carried by the sows at high gestational age, replacement of gilts and elimination of sows with excessive births were recommended to push forward the eradication of PR.
