I.S.Lisevich's Terminological Interpretation of Wen Xin Diao Long
Igor Samoylovich Lisevich,a researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Soviet Academy of Sciences,published a monograph titled Chinese Literary Thought at the Turn of Ancient and Middle Ages in 1979.He selected the most important concepts or categories in ancient Chinese literary theory and conducted a retrospective analysis and interpretation in the book.Many of his arguments are based on the conceptual terms in Liu Xie's Wen Xin Diao Long,so this book can also be included in the research works of Wen Xin Diao Long.This article summarizes his discourse on basic concepts such as"Dao","De","Wen","Qi","Zhi","Xin","Feng",and"Feng Gu"in Wen Xin Diao Long,for reference by colleagues in the field of"Dragon Studies"both domestically and internationally,as well as in the field of foreign translation of Chinese academic works.
