In the process of rapid and extensive urbanization in China,the informal housing in the urban village plays a role in providing housing security for new citizens and young people in big cities.At present,China's large cities are accelerating the redevelopment of urban villages.Through urban villages micro-redevelopment,small-area and affordable rental housing can be provided on a large scale in a market-oriented way,effectively solving the contradiction between affordable function and market-oriented supply of affordable rental housing.Based on the redevelopment experience of government-led mode,market-led mode and state-owned enterprises led mode,this paper constructs the linkage mechanism between micro-redevelopment of urban villages and the supply of affordable rental housing.Through the way of"government guiding and supporting+village committee self-redeveloping",the stock housing in the urban villages can be used as affordable rental housing on a large scale.Taking Beijing as an example,the housing demand of all new citizens can be met only by redeveloping 50%of the urban villages under the mode.At the same time,the risks of housing safety,rent control and process impact are discussed in this process,and relevant suggestions are put forward.
