Effect of salpingectomy on ovarian stromal blood flow and ovarian function in patients with ectopic pregnancy
Objective To investigate the effect of salpingectomy on ovarian stromal blood flow and ovarian function in patients with ec-topic pregnancy. Methods A total of 109 ectopic pregnancy.patients admitted to Linhai MCH Hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 were divided into observation group(56 cases)and control group(53 cases)according to treatment methods. The observation group was treated with salpingectomy. The control group was treated with traditional laparotomy. The operative indexes and complications were re-corded.Changes of ovarian stromal blood flow and ovarian function were observed before and after operation. Results The amount of blood loss during operation in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the operation time was shorter than that in the control group, and the time of anal exhaust and getting out of bed after operation were shorter(P<0.05).The complications in the observation group were less than those in the control group(P<0.05).The lowest diastolic flow rate(EDV)and systolic peak velocity(PSV)in both groups were lower than those before operation, while the resistance index(RI)and pulsation index(Pl)were higher than those before oper-ation(P<0.05).EDV and PSV in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while RI and PI were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of serum luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)were higher than those before operation, while the levels of ESTRADIOL(E2)were lower than those before operation(P<0.05).The levels of serum LH and FSH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the levels of E2 were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Salpingectomy is effective in treating ectopic pregnancy with less complications, quick recovery and little effect on ovarian stromal blood flow and ovarian function.
