Mediating effect of psychological elasticity on anxiety and well-being of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To explore the mediating effect of psychological elasticity between anxiety and well-being in postoperative chem-otherapy patients with breast cancer.Methods From January to August in 2022,breast cancer patients who received chemotherapy after breast surgery in Tangshan third-Class Hospital were selected as the research subjects.The psychological status of breast cancer patients un-dergoing chemotherapy was investigated by Connor Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and General well-being scale(GWB).Results Anxiety has a negative predictive effect on well-being of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy,while psychological elasticity has a positive predictive effect on well-being,and plays an intermediary role between anxiety and well-being,and its mediating effect accounts for 38.235%of the total effect.Conclusion The mental health problems of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy are not optimistic.in clinical prac-tice,we can adjust the level of psychological elasticity to help breast cancer patients with chemotherapy to alleviate anxiety,improve their well-being level,and ensure the successful completion of chemotherapy.
