Analysis the significance of mural coronary artery-myocardial bridge in forensic pathological identification
Objective To explore the significance of the diagnosis of mural coronary artery-myocardial bridge in forensic pathological identification.Methods A retrospective analysis of 20 autopsy cases of myocardial bridge from 2021～2023 was conducted to discuss the impact of myocardial bridge on the inference of the cause of death.Results Myocardial bridge was involved in sudden cardiac death induced by various factors through affecting cardiovascular function,which constituted an independent or combined cause of death.Conclusion When there are basic cardiac lesions and myocardial bridge,the internal and external factors in sudden cardiac death should be considered comprehensively to analyze their involvement in death.
