Correlation between Serum Cystatin C Level and Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction
Objective Correlation between serum cystatin C(Cys-C)level and severity of coronary artery disease in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods Selected for the 2016.11-2017.8 months in 198 patients with acute myocardial infarction in our hospital patients, all patients underwent Cys-C examination and coronary angiography were divided into 2 groups according to the results of Cys-C,Cys-C normal group of 46 cases,152 cases of Cys-C elevation group.Gensini score was used to judge the severity of coronary artery lesions and the scope of application. All patients were followed up for 3 years to observe death rate of cardiovascular events, and analysis of related factors of Cys-C.Results Totally 19 patients(12.5%)with elevated Cys-C had cardiovascular events, compared with 1 patient(2.2%)with normal Cys-C 3 years after, there was significant difference(P=0.04).The level of Cys-C in patients with severe coronary artery disease(1.7±0.7)mg/L was significantly higher than that in patients with mild and moderate coronary artery disease(1.4±0.7)mg/L,there was significant difference(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that Cys-C was positively correlated with severity of coronary Gensini score(β=0.64,P=0.005),serum troponin Ⅰ(β=0.47,P=0.002)and serum creatinine(β=0.02,P=0.004).Conclusion Cys-C level can be used as a risk index to evaluate the severity and prognosis of coronary artery disease in patients with acute myocardial infarction.
