Correlation between Cys-C,RDW and the Severity of Coronary Lesions,Prognosis in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To explore the correlation between cystatin C(Cys-C),red cell distribution width(RDW)and the severity of coronary lesions, prognosis in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods A total of 240 patients with suspected CHD in the hospital were retrospectively enrolled between April 2021 and April 2022.According to the results of coronary angiography, they were divided into CHD group(146 cases)and non-CHD group(94 cases). The levels of Cys-C and RDW in both groups were detected.ROC curves of Cys-C,RDW and combined detection in the diagnosis of CHD were drawn.According to disease severity,CHD patients were divided into mild group, moderate group and severe group. The levels of Cys-C and RDW in CHD patients with different disease severity were compared. After 18 months of follow-up,taking death of CHD patients as observation end point, relationship between Cys-C,RDW and prognosis was analyzed. Results The levels of Cys-C and RDW in CHD group were higher than those in non-CHD group(all P<0.05).The results of ROC curves analysis showed that the sensitivity, specificity and AUC of Cys-C combined with RDW in the diagnosis of CHD were higher than those of single index(P<0.05).With the aggravation of the disease, levels of Cys-C and RDW were increased(P<0.05).After 18 months of follow-up,difference in overall survival rate between high-level Cys-C group and low-level Cys-C group was statistically significant[81.71%(67/82)vs 93.75%(60/64),x2=4.605,P=0.032],and difference in overall survival rate between high-level RDW group and low-level RDW group was also statistically significant[81.33%(61/75)vs 92.96%(66/71),x2=4.354,P=0.037].Conclusion The levels of Cys-C and RDW are related to the occurrence and progression of CHD,which can be applied in the early diagnosis of CHD.The diagnostic value of combined detection is higher. The two indexes are closely related to prognosis of CHD patients.
