Advance in the Etiology of Heart Failure Based on Mendelian Randomization
Clinical observational studies have shown that multiple risk factors and biomarkers are closely related to the occurrence of heart failure.Due to the limitations of observational studies, the causal relationship between these factors and heart failure cannot be determined. In recent years,Mendelian randomization(MR),using genetic variants as instrumental variables for exposure, has been widely used in causal association studies. Many studies have used MR to explore the causal relationship of different risk factors and/or biomarkers with heart failure. This article intends to review the progress of the etiology of heart failure based on MR analysis.
