Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Internship Teaching Management and Reflection——Bidirectional Survey of Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Internship from Teacher and Student Perspectives
Objective:Explore management issues during nursing undergraduate clinical internships.Methods:Conducted a bidirectional survey using the questionnaire star method to investigate internship goals,mutual expectations between teachers and students,and problems and difficulties encountered during teaching.Results:Teachers were most concerned about the internship attitude and communication skills of nursingstudents.Nursing students expected teachers to be understanding,patient,and responsible,followed by having strong professional knowledge.The biggest difficulty faced by teachers was the attitude of students during the internship.Conclusion:(1)Limited communication between institutions is a major factor affecting the internship attitude of nursing students.(2)Clinical preceptors lack recognition of their role,and there is a lack of incentive management,which is the main factor affecting teaching attitudes.(3)Strengthening nursing undergraduate clinical teaching management,especially strengthening the role of clinical teachers and changing the teaching mode,is the fundamental way to improve the quality of clinical nursing education.
