Analysis of the Cognitive Status and Influencing Factors of Nursing Students on Palliative Care
Objective:To understand the cognitive status of nursing students on palliative care, providing a basis for setting up relevant courses in the future. Methods:Convenientsampling was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 170 students with internship experience in palliative care wards and 50 students without internship experience. Results:The average score for palliative care knowledge was(9.63 ±3.39),and the average cognitive score was(74.65±11.59).Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in knowledge and cognition scores among students of different genders, whether they had internship experience, whether they were willing to learn and introduce palliative care to others, and whether they were willing to engage in palliative care. Conclusion:Increasing the theoretical and practical courses of palliative care and enhancing the awareness of palliative care among nursing students.
