Application of PBL Joint Medical and Nursing Integrated Teaching Model in Clinical Internship of Midwifery
Objective:Explore the application of PBL joint medical and nursing integrated model in midwifery teaching. Methods:Sixty students who interned in the obstetrics department of our hospital from January 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 30 students in each group. The experimental group underwent PBL joint medical and nursing integrated teaching, while the control group underwent traditional teaching. The scores oftheory and skills, satisfaction with different teaching modes, and nursing soft skills were compared between the two groups. Results:The experimental group had higher scores in theory and skills than the control group(P<0.05).Students in the experimental group were more satisfied with the teaching mode than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before teaching, there was no statistically significant difference in nursing soft skills between the two groups(P>0.05);after teaching, students in the experimental group performed better in all aspects of nursing soft skills than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of the PBL joint medical and nursing integrated teaching model in midwifery clinical internship is effective, significantly improving student satisfaction with the teaching mode and enhancing students'nursing soft skills.
