The Application of TSP and SSP in Preclinical Teaching of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
Objective:To explore the application and effectiveness of teacher standardized patients(TSP)and student standardized patients(SSP)in preclinical teaching of conservative dentistry and endodontics.Methods:Thirty students were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.The experimental group received TSP and SSP teaching,while the control group underwent self-directed review.After the course,theoretical tests and clinical skills assessments were conducted,and a questionnaire survey was administered to the experimental group.Results:There was no significant difference in theoretical test scores between the two groups.However,the experimental group demonstrated significantly better clinical skills performance than the control group,and the students expressed high satisfaction with the TSP and SSP teaching.Conclusion:TSP and SSP teaching can effectively enhance students'clinical comprehensive abilities.
