Application of PBL Combined with CBL Teaching Method in Clinical Teaching of Oral Mucosal Diseases
Objective:To analyze the application effectiveness of PBL combined with CBL teaching method compared to traditional teaching methods in the clinical teaching of oral mucosal diseases.Methods:Students from the first year of internship and residency in the Oral Department of the First Affiliated Hospital,School of Medicine,Zhejiang University,were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into group A and group B.Group A received LBL teaching in the first session and PBL combined with CBL teaching method in the second session,while group B received PBL combined with CBL teaching method in the first session and LBL teaching in the second session.Recurrent aphthous ulcer was the content of the first session,and oral lichen planus was the content of the second session.The teaching effectiveness was evaluated through a questionnaire survey and an oral mucosal disease examination.Results:In the first session,the scores of group B receiving collaborative teaching were higher than group A(P<0.05).In the second session,the scores of group A were higher than group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:The teaching effectiveness of PBL combined with CBL teaching method is superior to LBL teaching methods in the clinical teaching of oral mucosal diseases.PBL combined with CBL teaching is feasible in this context.
