Application of Flipped Classroom in PBL Clinical Medical Education under the"Internet+"Background
Objective:To explore the role of the flipped classroom under the"Internet+"background in PBL clinical medical education.Methods:The flipped classroom teaching model was applied to PBL in clinical medical education under the"Internet+"background,and the learning outcomes of two cohorts of students were evaluated.Results:There was no significant difference in classroom performance,average midterm,or final exam scores between the experimental and control groups.However,the final exam scores and comprehensive scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group.Conclusion:Utilizing the Internet for flipped classroom teaching can improve the teaching effectiveness of clinical medical theory courses without diminishing the effectiveness of PBL online classroom discussions.
