In the post-pandemic era,education opening to the outside world in China faces challenges.Local medical colleges,based on their geographical and disciplinary characteristics,actively implement the policy of educational openness while promoting the internationalization of education.They innovate by establishing a"Five-Pronged Drive"model with a focus on the ASEAN region and serving the Belt and Road Initiative,forming a pattern of"major foreign affairs"in education opening to the outside world.This has enhanced the level of internationalization and quality of talent cultivation,demonstrated significant effectiveness in serving diplomatic strategies,and can serve as a reference for the path of education opening to the outside world in local medical colleges.
