Survey and Discussion on the"Job Competency"of Doctors with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
Building a quality evaluation system for traditional Chinese and Western medicine talents and guiding the cultivation of integrated Chinese and Western medicine talents based on"job competency"is an important engine and development direction for the healthy development of medicine in China.There is currently no official authoritative consensus on the job competencies of doctors with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.In order to investigate the core"job competency"of Chinese doctors of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,we used a questionnaire to conduct a questionnaire survey on"Job Competencies of Chinese Doctors of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine"among the members of the China Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.There were a total of 142 doctors of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.participated and completed the questionnaire.The results show that the most important job competencies of doctors of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,in descending order of voting proportion,are:knowledge and skills of traditional Chinese medicine(84.51%),knowledge and skills of western medicine(76.06%),doctor-patient communication(54.93%),clinical thinking and Decision-making(52.11%),professional quality(47.18%),traditional Chinese medicine inheritance(41.55%),traditional Chinese medicine innovation(35.92%),lifelong learning(35.21%),teamwork(26.76%),Chinese culture(26.06%),academic research(18.31%),teaching ability(16.9%),disease prevention(10.56%),evidence-based medicine(10.56%),medical science popularization(4.23%),and information management(2.82%).
