A Comparative Questionable Study of Scientific Research Consciousness and Ability in Different Standardized Residents'Training System
Objective:To investigate the scientific research consciousness and ability of in different standardized residents'training system, further provide reference for optimizing the standardized training system and cultivating medical talents with both clinical and scientific research ability. Methods:In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted in 19 residential training bases of different regions of China.A total of 192 trainees(116 in"dual track"system and 76 in"non-dual track"system)were selected and investigated their scientific research awareness and ability under different training systems. Results:The survey of scientific research consciousness showed that 86.21%of"dual track"residents can study literature independently, and most of them spend more than 1 day on scientific research every week;while for"non-dual track"residents, only 53.95%can study literature independently, and 76.32%spend less than 1 day on scientific research every week(P<0.05).92.10%of"non-dual track"residents are willing to participate in scientific research. As for the research ability research, the proportion of residents in"dual track"system participating in research projects and writing papers was higher than that of residents in"non-dual track"system. Most residents in dual track system knew the structure of and how to write research papers, knowing how to use Chinese and English databases;the proportion was significantly higher than that of residents in"non-dual track"system(P<0.05).92.10%of"non-dual track"residents are willing to participate in scientific research, however most of them don't know the scientific research methods. Conclusion:Residents with different training systems have different scientific research awareness and ability. The scientific research ability of residents with"dual track"system is significantly higher than that of"non-dual track"system students.Non-dual track system residents have higher scientific research willingness, but lack of scientific research methods and practice.
