Study on the Impact of Teacher-Student Relationships on Vocational Identity of Undergraduate Nursing Interns
Objective:To explore the current status and impact of teacher-student relationships on the vocational identity of undergraduate nursing interns.Methods:Questionnaires including general information,teacher-student relationship,and vocational identity were administered to nursing interns in a university in Guangdong Province.Results:The total score of vocational identity among 205 nursing interns was(57.69±9.23)points,and the total score of teacher-student relationships was(66.86±9.71)points.There was a positive correlation between vocational identity and teacher-student relationships(r=0.485,P<0.01).Hierarchical regression analysis showed that teacher-student relationships positively predicted vocational identity(P<0.01)and could independently explain 3.3%of the variance in vocational identity.Conclusion:Both vocational identity and teacher-student relationships among nursing interns are at a moderate level and need improvement.
