Application of Problem-Oriented Teaching Combined with Teacher-Student Exchange Method in the Teaching of Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment in Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine
Objective:To explore the effect of problem-oriented teaching combined with teacher-student exchange method on the teaching of syndrome differentiation and treatment in traditional Chinese internal medicine.Methods:Two undergraduate classes of acupuncture and rehabilitation majors from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2016 were selected as the research objects,and the syndrome differentiation and treatment parts of the chapters"Abdominal Pain"and"Lung Distention"were chosen for teaching.The control group adopted traditional teaching methods,while the experimental group adopted a teaching method combining problem-oriented teaching and teacher-student exchange.The difference in teaching effect was evaluated through case analysis test questions.Results:From the comparison of score distribution,the excellent rate of students in the experimental group was higher than that of students in the control group(P<0.05).From the comparison of average exam scores,the average exam scores of students in the experimental group were higher than those of students in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Problem-oriented teaching combined with teacher-student exchange method achieves good results in the teaching of syndrome differentiation and treatment in traditional Chinese internal medicine.
