Application of the"Dual Mentorship System"Management in the Integration Education of Anesthesiology Master's Degree Graduate Students and Resident Training
Objective:This study introduces the"Dual Mentorship System"collaborative management model into the integration education of anesthesiology master's degree graduate students and resident training, aiming to explore its effectiveness in enhancing education quality and students'professional abilities. Methods:Sixty master's degree graduate students in anesthesiology from Shengjing Hospital,China Medical University were selected for this study. They were randomly divided into a control group(single mentor,n=30)and an experimental group(dual mentors,n=30).The control group received traditional single-mentor teaching, while the experimental group implemented the innovative"Dual Mentorship System"model. In the experimental group, graduate students received research guidance from their degree mentors and were also equipped with experienced resident mentors focusing on clinical practice ability cultivation. The education effect was evaluated through self-assessment questionnaires and professional assessment scores. Results:Compared to the control group, the experimental group showed better performance in self-assessment questionnaires and professional assessment scores, with statistically significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The introduction of the"Dual Mentorship System"management model significantly improves the education quality of anesthesiology master's degree graduate students and effectively enhances students'professional abilities and practical skills.
