An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between the Quality of Medical Doctoral Dissertations and the Publication of Academic Papers
Objective:To understand the evaluation results of doctoral dissertations and the publication status of academic papers from a university-affiliated hospital during 2015-2019,analyze the quality of doctoral dissertations and their correlation with the publication of academic papers,and provide reference and suggestions for doctoral quality evaluation.Methods:Descriptive analysis and analysis of variance were used to analyze the evaluation results of doctoral dissertations and the publication of academic papers.Results:The overall quality of doctoral dissertations is relatively high,with the lowest score in the"innovative achievements"indicator.More doctoral candidates publish SCI papers,while fewer publish papers with high impact factors.There is a certain correlation between the quality of doctoral dissertations and the publication of academic papers.Conclusion:To enhance the research innovation ability of doctoral students,attention should be paid to not only SCI papers but also other forms of publication,and the blind review system for doctoral dissertations should be improved.
