The Practice of Blended Teaching in Medical Biochemistry Courses for MBBS Students During the Pandemic
The development of international medical students'education can improve the comprehensive strength of higher education in China and promote the development of medical discipline in China as well.However,international medical education faces big challenges in teaching and learning since students are unable to return to school during the COVID-19 pandemic.Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education,we have explored and practiced an effective blended online and offline teaching and learning for biochemistry courses for international students and ensured the teaching quality during the pandemic.Through supplementing online teaching resources,reforming the organization of classes,and building an internet-based process evaluation system,we ensured the quality of teaching during the pandemic control period and the outcomes were satisfactory.The teaching resources and experiences achieved in this study will promote the practice of further internationalized teaching and curriculum reform of biochemistry courses.
