Research on the Application of Mind Mapping in Nursing Electronic Medical Record Teaching for Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Nursing Students
Objective:To explore the application and effectiveness of mind mapping in nursing electronic medical record(EMR)teaching for hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery nursing students. Methods:Starting from four forms including admission assessment, nursing record, nursing care plan, and health education, five mind maps for common diseases in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery nursing were designed. After departmental pre-job training, nursing students were guided to use mind maps in the process of writing nursing EMRs.The quality of electronic nursing EMRs and general self-efficacy scores of nursing students before and after application were compared. Results:Compared with the control group, the total score of electronic nursing EMR writing in the experimental group increased from(85.47±5.03)to(92.65±4.01).The self-efficacy score of the experimental group increased from(2.59±0.30)before the intervention to(2.92±0.40)after the intervention. Conclusion:Mind mapping,as an auxiliary tool for nursing electronic medical record teaching in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, helps improve nursing students'ability to write medical records and their self-efficacy levels.
