Survey and Study on the Current Status and Influencing Factors of Independent Learning Ability among Undergraduate Students Majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing
Objective:To investigate the current status of independent learning ability among first-year undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine nursing and its influencing factors.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted on 254 first-year undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine nursing in a certain traditional Chinese medicine university using a general information questionnaire and a self-assessment questionnaire for independent learning ability of students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine nursing.Results:The total score of independent learning ability among first-year undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine nursing was(96.10±13.94)points,with the highest average score in the dimension of self-motivation(4.08±0.66)and the lowest average score in the dimension of information acquisition and processing(3.15±0.75).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the degree of liking for the major was an independent influencing factor of independent learning ability among first-year undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine nursing(P<0.05).Conclusion:The independent learning ability of first-year undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine nursing is at a moderate level,mainly influenced by the degree of liking for the major.
