Exploration of Integrating Clinical Internship with Health Management Practical Teaching for Medical Students
Objective:To explore methods and effects of integrating clinical internship with health management practical teaching for medical students. Methods:One hundred interns were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 50 students. The control group received traditional internship teaching and theoretical health management lectures, while the experimental group added health management practical teaching. The teaching effects of the two groups were evaluated. Results:When comparing the experimental group with the control group, there was no difference in theoretical scores(P>0.05),but the operational scores were better than the control group(P<0.05).The health management abilities, such as the ability to collect patient history, were superior in the experimental group compared to the control group(P<0.05).Patient health awareness, compliance, and satisfaction were significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion:The innovative teaching method of integrating clinical internship with health management practice can significantly improve the clinical internship scores, health management practical abilities, and patient satisfaction of medical students.
